The Tenth Annual Garden School Walk-A-Thon will take place on May 13th, 2008. The PTA has made a commitment to this project and this is one of the most important fundraiser of the year.
Garden School was founded in 1923, is an independent school located in Jackson Heights, New York serving Nursery through 12th Grade, with a population of 400 students. We are a college preparatory school with a 100% college attendance record. As an Independent School, we are a not for profit organization with a 501 3C designation. Our Tax ID Number is: 11-163-1783.
We are looking for cash donations or items like products samples, snacks, water, pencils, key chains and the like for the “goodie” bags that each participating student receives. We also run a raffle on the day of the Walk-A-Thon and need raffle prizes for example gift certificates, gift baskets, sporting events tickets, concert tickets, etc.
